A little about me...
Alexia Boland is an Australian broadcast journalist and communications professional with more than a decade of industry experience.
Most recently, Alexia anchored news and weather across regional Victoria and southern New South Wales for WIN Television. In addition to this, she has previously worked as a television news presenter and producer with Southern Cross Austereo, The Nine Network's Today Show, WIN Television, Prime 7 Television, Channel 31 and SYN Media across the east coast of Australia.
Alexia completed a Master’s degree (Journalism and Communication) with Deakin University, before turning her attention to freelance projects across several platforms. This includes serving as Director of her own media consultancy business, Gladiator Media, while producing and presenting news podcast 'WORTHY' (worthypodcast.com) after being selected as a finalist in the Pause Fest’s This American Life radio competition.
The Worthy Podcast has already garnered thousands of listeners around the world and has been recognised for its content on iTunes.
In 2016, Alexia joined Australia's leading communications organisation on energy and climate change, the independent and not-for-profit Climate Council, as Senior Communications Advisor.
In 2017, Alexia graduated from the Australian Progress Fellowship and currently volunteers on the Board of Wildlife Victoria.
